Alisa Zomer is a Master's student at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies whose work focuses on natural resource decision-making in urban and rural settings. Prior to attending F&ES, Alisa worked at the World Resources Institute in Washington, DC, where she concentrated on environmental governance and justice issues related to global sustainable development. Geoffrey Giller is a writer and photographer whose work has appeared in Audubon, Amherst Magazine, and elsewhere. He is a former Editor-in-Chief of SAGE and he has a Master's of Environmental Science degree from Yale FES. See some of his other work here and follow him on Twitter @geoffsjg.

Derek Soled is a freshman in Yale College. Prior to arriving at Yale, Derek conducted medical research for the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and environmental research for his town council, founded a science journal for high school students, and served as Editor-in-Chief of his school newspaper. He plans to one day work in politics and focus on health and environmental policy.

Grace is a sophomore at Yale College, where she majors in environmental studies and writes for several campus publications. She credits her upbringing in Seattle for a particular attention to salmon; although now, as a student, she is committed to learning about the ecology of many life-forms.

AARON REUBEN is an editor-at-large and the former editor-in-chief of Sage Magazine. He holds a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, where he focused on governance of global marine resources. Aaron is a Get Out the Vote Director for Obama for America in western Pennsylvania. He is co-founder of the Brooklyn-based literary arts journal Armchair/Shotgun.

NICHOLAS TAPERT is an environmental lawyer currently clerking for a federal judge in Columbia, South Carolina. He holds an MEM from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and a JD from the Pace School of Law.

Charissa is a second-year Master's of Environmental Management student at FES studying business and the environment, with a specific focus on a life cycle analysis approach to sustainable product design and manufacturing. She has been rock climbing for over 13 years, and while she has climbed throughout much of the US and around the world, one of her favorite places will always be the sandstone cliffs of Southern Illinois, where she grew up climbing.

Noah Sokol is an Associate Editor at Sage Magazine and a second-year PhD student in the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
