The October 15th Global Day of Action has been highly successful in New York City as far, gaining even greater momentum and numbers this afternoon, to reach critical mass this evening in Times Square.
—
Over 5,000 marching from Washington Square currently – with another 3,000 in formation at Zuccotti/Liberty Park prepared to head north. 23 confirmed arrests confirmed earlier today (from Adbusters) at a Citibank “account-closing” occupation.
From Adbusters twitter feed: “We are unstoppable, another world is possible” they chant, as the march proceeds north in the direction of Times Square…
Impressive activity in other cities as well – London, Rome, Hong Kong, Amsterdam… more to come.
